So I found this on my walk last night. ‘69 Land Rover for sale, all original, 4 jumpseats in the back... $12,500. What say you?

I’d offer him $8k at most. It looks a little rough. CP.

Why do I never find anything like this when I walk the dog? Anyway it's a nice asking price... Would be a sure NP if he would let it go closer to $10k.

I live in a weird nexus of older rich people with taste, poor people with ingenuity, and working people with unusual A to B-ers.

I live in a similar type of neighborhood. My next door neighbors are a couple rednecks with two ancient Dodge vans and a lifted Suburban who bought the house for $160k. Next to them is a totally renovated place on sale for $400k with a pair of Lexuses (Lexi?) in the driveway. And we have everything in between. I see some neat cars around (like the DeLorean I posted the other day) but nothing ever has a for sale sign on it :(

CP - very little utility there and likely a lot of work. Mileage?

I’m sure that I’m showing my extreme ignorance of older Land Rovers here, but can you open those little doors below the windshields like they’re a front facing quarter glass window? Because that’s amazing.

Like, actual mechanical A/C or A/C the way windows become A/C when Lucas makes your electrical parts?
Because if the former, then I demand that someone makes my amazing idea a reality.

It’s probably in the ball park of market value, but I can’t see paying that kind of money for it. Very cool though.

They are little vents like on the old VW vans. Let's the air in to cool you. So yeah, the AC.

I would say crack pipe. Not too far off I would assume though and that is just ridiculous. I would love to import a 110 one day myself. I say import because people want absolutely ridiculous prices for them already here.

Seems high but maybe it’s mechanically amazing. Then see what it would cost to buy another and get it into better shape.

CP. My 109 cost less than that and has much better paint sans the desert pinstripes. Maybe for like 8k but for 12.5k it's a little high.
